Happy Valentine's Day!
We did a home photo shoot in honor of the holiday. We started in the red diaper, since I realized he doesn't have anything Valentine-y to wear. But then, I remembered that I had this fabric upstairs.
A fun toy came in handy to get him to look in different directions.
Eventually the diaper came off for some "cupid" shots.
I had some wet linens by the end, but I think they turned out rather well!

A Tale of Two Sweet Potatoes
Adam has recently started to sample some solid foods. The mainstay of his diet is milk, but he's showing signs of being ready to try other foods. So far he's tried bananas, squash, rice cereal, and today, mama's homemade sweet potatoes!
I started last night with four sweet potatoes. I baked two of them for the grown-ups' dinner, and rserved the other two for Adam:
Get rid of that peel!
Cube and boil in water!
Let cool and blend! (Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Russo for the blender!)
Pour into ice cube trays and freeze for future meals! It yielded fourteen frozen servings plus a little extra for tonight.
They were a big hit, mixed with milk and a bit of rice cereal:
