Our lazy summer

What have we been up to this summer? Well, we went to Lancaster, where Adam discovered the joy of marbles with PawPaw.

We've been going to Bowie Town Center, where Adam loves to play on the train playset.

And of course we spend a lot of time at church, where Adam loves to play on the playground.

A bunch of pcitures from my camera

I know, I know, I'm horrible at uploading stuff to this blog. But don't let that get in the way of you enjoying these pictures. Yes, some of them are from as far back as Easter, but they're cute nonetheless.

I organized an Easter Egg hunt for our friends here in the neighborhood. As you can see, the refreshments we much more interesting that the eggs, at least to Adam.

The devilish grin should have tipped us off: this will be messy!

Success!

I love the drip down his chest, confirming my idea to remove his shirt.

My new favorite photo of Adam. Apparently the bunnies at the farm were overwhelming.

Trying on my glasses--is this how he will look at age 40?

Picnicing with his buddies, Sean and Abby, on July 4.

Visiting Grandpa and Grandma Russo

Adam got to spend some time with his grandparents last weekend, while Mommy and Daddy were out running some errands.

Grandpa's house is a lot of fun! They have a great door for playing peek-a-boo.
They like to "spoil" him with fun items from the local Disney store.
And Grandpa is happy to be fed cheerios. Well, at least for a while. There are only so many cheerios that one can eat.

At the farm

A few weeks ago, my neighbor and I took our kids to the local nature farm. We saw chickens, peacocks, turkeys, pigs, llamas, ducks, and a cow, a horse, and a donkey. Adam's favorite was the chickens, especially when we were able to feed them. He giggled and giggled!

The West Wing

If you are one of Adam's grandparents, you can skip this post and go directly down to the previous one, where you will get those pics of Adam you've been waiting for. Everyone else, keep reading.

The Russo family has been busy for the last few months. In December, we got a tour of the West Wing given by a friend from our church. We got a bunch of nice pictures, though sadly pictures are not allowed inside of the West Wing. But we got some great ones outside. It was cool!

With our friend and tour guide, Bill Behrens:

Outside the West Wing
Oh wait, there was a picture of Adam in there. Sorry, grandparents, I guess you should have read this one, too.

Long, Long Time

I know, I know, it's been forever since I've updated this blog! Since it's been so long, I'll give all of you Adam fans a big fix.

One day, I was chatting on the phone with a friend when I realized I hadn't heard from Adam in a while. I looked around and found him like this. He can climb up to the bathroom sink, too.

A new obsession is cooking with Daddy. Mommy doesn't have the nerves for it, though.

It snowed here last week. By Saturday it was almost 70 and it was all gone. Adam seemed to like kicking the snow with his foot more than anything else. I tried to show him how to make a snowball, which he found funny--but he just watched me do it without joining in.

Enjoying a PB&J on a Sunday afternoon.
