A mornig at the playground
The weather is finally getting tolerable here, so we celebrated with a morning at the playground. We had the place to ourselves and it was a blast!
Yes, he has a doggie hat and froggie boots...and a jacket that no one can miss!
After we explored the equipment, Adam noticed some flashing lights at the top of the hill. It was a firetruck, which I learned was in the area because the Gas Co was doing some digging and they were required to be there "just in case".
The kind firefighters indulged Adam when he asked to see the inside of the truck. I'm so glad he's not afraid. A firefighter is one of those people that I want him to trust, should he ever need to be rescued by one!

Life since the snowstorm
He ran into the dining room table a week and a half ago, hence the shiner. Don't worry, it's virtually gone now!
Cute doggie hat from Aunt Rosemary.
I'm also happy to report that Adam is now 100% potty trained! We are so proud of him. We had a potty training boot camp during the week we were snowed in. It was actually easier than I thought it would be. Then for a week or two we continued to take him to the potty every hour or so. Now he tells us when he has to go. We kept a diaper on him at night but it's been dry for the last 3 nights, so I think we'll skip it from now on. We're so proud of our big boy! He'll be 2 1/2 on March 11.
