Swagbucks

Hey everyone.

You might have noticed that there is a little box on the right hand side of the screen marked "swagbucks." Swagbucks is a search engine that rewards you for searching. It works like google or yahoo, except you create an account and it keeps track of your searching. Every once in a while, you are randomly rewarded with a "swagbuck." You can trade these in for real-life rewards. I think the best deal they are offering right now is 45 swagbucks for a $5 amazon gift card. It took me almost exactly 30 days of regular internet searching to earn my first amazon card. Yes, it's just $5, but that's $5 more than I had at the beginning of the month. If I keep it up, I'll earn $60 this year, just by searching the net!

But, if I can get friends and family to refer to swagbucks, I can earn more while they earn as well. Which means the gift cards could come faster. I plan to put the Amazon money I am earning towards a new and upgraded camera. After a year of faithful service, the camera I got as a Christmas present last year was recently damaged by my sweet toddler. It still works, most of the time at least, but in the mean time I would like to save for a new camera. I've got my eyes set on one that will also take HD videos.

So, if you would like to see more and better pictures of the star of this blog, consider getting and using a swagbucks account. Maybe you will earn some Amazon money, too.

Just be sure to click through my referral so I can get credit for your searching as well! Consider downloading their toolbar as well. It's non-intrusive and makes the searching easier. Oh, and, there is a limit of one account per household.
